Mr. Merrell as a US Army Vietnam Veteran has the experience to help fellow veterans with issues and concerns, including Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Mr. Merrell was awarded several military medals including the Bronze Star Medal (2 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (ARCOM) and the Vietnamese Staff Service Honor Medal.

RUTH WESTBROOK-MERRELL, MA
Ruthie Westbrook-Merrell, MA is the Quality Assurance Coordinator and Practice Manager for Merrell Recovery Associates. Her duties include scheduling appointments, referrals to other professionals as directed by Mr. Merrell, processing of release of information requests, and review of all office policies, forms and procedures. In addition, Ruthie, as a veteran educator, is available for educational and child development coaching and special education advocacy. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology and a Master’s Degree in Child Development and Learning Disabilities. In addition, Ruthie has been trained as a Quality Assurance Coordinator utilizing the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) Standards.
